Construction and Rehabilitation of Sewerage Facilities
- 30 MLD, Upgradation of 20 MLD & 5 MLD STPs are under construction
- I&D works at Picket Nalla, Balkapur Nalla, , Fatehnagar, Prakash Nagar & Necklace Road at Kukutpally Nalla all under construction
- 1600mm dia RCC Ring Main from Kukatpally Nala at Necklace Road to Buddha Bhavan, 1600mm RCC Pipe Jacking at Boats Club, Trunk Main and diversion weir at Rangadhamini Lake (IDL), 1400mm RCC Bala Nagar Main all in progress

Sewerage treatment plant:- Sewage Treatment Plant of 20 MLD with an extended aeration process - Commissioned in 1998 and maintained by BPPA, located on necklace road adjacent to Khairatabad flyover
- Treated water, (satisfying approved water quality standards of CPCB), released into HSL

Save Sagar Project:- “Societal Awareness and Visitor Education” programme for the Conservation of Hussain Sagar Lake
- Main focus on enhancing visitor & student awareness about the natural and cultural heritage value of the lake
- Providing mechanism for involving citizens, vendors and corporate bodies in the conservation of the lake with the assistance of Centre for Environmental Education (CEE)
- Total cost of the project is Rs.10.01 lakhs
The main activities under the project include conducting park education activities, Hussain Sagar Lake heritage trails, lake research fellowships, green vendor certification programme, orientation programmes and making of park brochures and souvenirs, interpretation centres etc.
