- One “Integrated Logistic Hub”(ILH) as Type I facility apart from “Moderate Logistic Hubs / Truck Terminals as Type II facilities to complement Type I Integrated Hub.
- Minimum area of 85 – 100 Acres abutting National Highway (outside ORR) having connectivity to the ORR for Type I facility mainly to house Inland Container Depot (ICD) with Rail siding.
- About 25 – 40 Acres on National & State Highways beyond ORR for Type – II facility essentially for parking, warehousing and wayside amenities.

HMDA CENTRAL OFFICE BUILDING

HMDA has proposed to construct a Central Office Building at Hitex, Madhapur, with “Green Building” concepts (Platinum Rated Norms) in an area of 8.5 acres (given by the government) to accommodate all the units of the Authority. 16 floors and a built-up area of 4.5 lakh sft are being proposed. The building will include an auditorium at the ground level, and has been planned duly integrating the existing lake on the northern side. The approximate cost of the building is about Rs. 80.0 crores.

- Conceptual plans and designs were invited from agencies of national and international repute.
- Conceptual plans with innovative designs were furnished by various architects, and the same were placed before the Hon’ble Chief Minister for approval.
- The Hon’ble Chief Minister approved the conceptual designs (in November 2008) made by M/s Yasher Architects of Israel.
- “Expression of Interest cum Request for Proposals” (EOI cum RFP) for the Architectural & Management Consultants was called for from the firms of national & international repute.
- The proposals were received from 7 firms, and the same were placed before the Selection Committee, for appointment of the Architectural Consultants.
- M/s Yasher Group & M/s Team One India Pvt Ltd (JV) are to be appointed as Architectural & Management Consultants.
- “Expression of Interest” was called for to take up the building on EPC Basis, for which 12 bidders have responded.
- The RFP document will be issued to the short listed bidders shortly.
